Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
• Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and mentorship to enhance their skills.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs.
• Monitor food preparation processes to maintain quality standards.
• Lead by example in cooking techniques, presentation, and service excellence.
• Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.

Experience

• Strong background in food service management, including kitchen management and team leadership
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred to effectively manage kitchen staff
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry.
