Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kozhikode for an R & D Chef. The R & D Chef will develop new recipes and products, experiment with ingredient combinations, and improve existing menu offerings. Additionally, the role involves researching food trends, collaborating with the culinary team to innovate dishes, conducting sensory evaluations, and ensuring that all creations meet food safety and quality standards.


Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, recipe development, and ingredient utilization
  • Experience in food research, trend analysis, and innovative dish creation
  • Strong skills in food presentation and sensory evaluation
  • Ability to collaborate with culinary teams and adapt to diverse cooking styles
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in product development within the food industry is an advantage
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
