Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chef role located in Thrissur. The Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and crafting healthy and delicious dishes that align with Eatntunes' wellness-centered mission. Key duties include collaborating on menu development, preparing vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options, adhering to food safety standards, and maintaining the kitchen's operational efficiency. The role requires creativity to innovate with nutritious ingredients while meeting specific dietary preferences.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in meal preparation, culinary techniques, and understanding of vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free recipes
- Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene, and proper food handling practices
- Ability to develop creative and health-focused recipes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial kitchen environment
- Prior experience in a restaurant, catering, or health-food business is an advantage
- Passion for healthy living and an understanding of nutritional principles is highly desirable
- Culinary certification or relevant experience in professional kitchens is preferred
