Chef de Partie

As a Cook at Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa, your primary responsibility will be to prepare special meals or substitute items, regulate the temperature of cooking appliances, ensure proper portioning and arrangement of food, and maintain food logs. You will also monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared, communicate assistance needed during busy periods, and inform the Chef of excess food items for daily specials. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist - Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator - Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock menu items - Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees - Follow company and safety procedures, report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions - Anticipate and address guests" service needs - Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and ensure quality standards are met - Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, and bending or stooping as needed Qualifications Required: - Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree - Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience - Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required - License or Certification: None needed At Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality.
