Chartered Accountant

As a Chartered Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager, your role will involve handling complete financial and accounting operations for all group companies. This will require utilizing strong technical accounting skills, in-depth knowledge of Indian taxation and compliance, and providing strategic financial advice to senior management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and finalize various accounts such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, Consolidated Financial Statement, and Income Statement. - Coordinate with Statutory Auditors for auditing accounts and prepare necessary reports/certificates. - Implement appropriate accounting methods, policies, and principles. - Scrutinize ledgers, reconcile accounts, and supervise all accounting functions. - Ensure compliance with statutory obligations related to Income Tax, TDS, Professional Tax, Provident Fund, GST, and Advance Tax on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. - Collaborate with consultants to address any challenges. - Generate Form 16 for staff based on employee-provided information. - Develop investment schedules, manage Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDRs) and Bank Guarantees. - Communicate with bank personnel and auditors when necessary. - Provide data for SEBI inspections of exchanges like BSE, NSE, MCX, or other authorities. - Prepare budgeted income and expenditure accounts. - Offer regular financial advice to the Chairman. - Handle outstanding balances and insolvency matters, advise on tax and treasury issues, and contribute to financial planning/forecasting. - Recommend process enhancements to enhance cost-effectiveness and efficiency. - Review company systems, assess risks, and conduct tests to verify financial data and prevent fraud. - Supervise subordinate staff, fostering professionalism, respect, and adherence to company policies. **Employment Terms:** - Probation period of 6 months, extendable as per company discretion. - Confirmation based on performance, with or without salary modifications. - One month's notice or salary in lieu post-confirmation. - Retirement age set at 58 years, extendable at management's discretion. - Working hours from 9:45 AM to 6:15 PM on all working days with a 30-minute lunch break. - Full-time employment with strict confidentiality and prohibition on engaging in similar activities. - Mandatory signing of Non-Disclosure / Confidentiality Agreement.
