Chartered Accountant

As a Senior Executive - Chartered Accountant at our company located in Andheri East, you will be responsible for the following: - Possessing a sound understanding of basic provisions of transaction related laws including income-tax, company laws, and international tax laws. Additionally, knowledge of regulatory laws such as FEMA, IBC, and SEBI would be advantageous. - Identifying issues by reviewing various transactional information, documents, and agreements such as Scheme of Arrangement, Share Purchase Agreement, etc. - Conducting research and analysis of transaction tax related laws on inbound and outbound deals, corporate reorganizations, securities market aspects, etc. - Identifying, highlighting, and quantifying material historical and potential tax exposures, benefits, and risks related to acquiring the target. - Performing direct tax diligence, scrutinizing past tax issues, records, compliance of the target, and preparing a diligence report. - Structuring transactions from a tax and regulatory perspective, coordinating with various teams, and reviewing transaction documents related to the structuring, implementation, and compliance. - Evolving optimal ownership, investment, funding structures for investment in specified jurisdictions and in India from tax and regulatory efficiency perspective. Analyzing respective DTAAs between India and specified jurisdictions and high-level analysis of corporate laws of such specified jurisdictions. - Demonstrating proficiency in MS Office and other processes and tools to enhance work efficiency.
