You are a motivated and detail-oriented Associate with 2 years of experience in Direct Tax and International Taxation. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing compliance, advisory, and litigation support for corporate and individual clients, focusing on Indian and international direct tax laws, including transfer pricing and tax treaties. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and filing income tax returns for individuals, companies, and other entities, handling tax audits and assessments, drafting submissions and replies to notices, assisting in appellate proceedings, and conducting monthly/quarterly/yearly tax computations and advance tax workings. You will also ensure TDS/TCS compliance, reconciliation, and return filing, provide research and advisory on cross-border transactions and interpretation of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs), and support clients on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) and OECD guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in Foreign Remittance certification (Form 15CA/CB) and regulatory compliance (FEMA, RBI filings, etc.), preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and reports, benchmarking analysis, and transfer pricing studies. Your role will also include coordination for TP assessments and litigation support. You are expected to stay updated on the latest changes in direct tax laws and international tax developments, support senior team members in client deliverables, tax opinions, and strategy planning, as well as manage client communications, meetings, and relationships. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong knowledge of the Indian Income Tax Act, DTAAs, OECD guidelines, and TP regulations. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and tax compliance tools such as Tally, Computax, Winman, or similar is essential. An analytical mindset, strong research and drafting skills, the ability to handle multiple deadlines, and effective communication with clients and authorities are key skills required for this position.,

As the Head of Corporate Management (CM) / Business Line Manager at a French-origin consulting firm in Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the firm's CM activities, managing a team, and serving as an outsourced CFO for international clients. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic financial management, regulatory compliance, and advisory services across various aspects including accounting, tax, HR, and business operations. You will be expected to oversee monthly financial reporting, MIS, and general ledger management for clients, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, corporate tax, and annual audits. Coordinating with client headquarters for intercompany transactions and cross-border reporting will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing expert consulting on the Indian tax, HR, and regulatory landscape, drafting memos, reports, and advisory notes for international clients, and tracking and implementing regulatory changes relevant to client operations. Incorporation and regulatory compliance tasks will involve managing company/liaison office incorporation, ensuring adherence to FEMA, MCA, RBI regulations, and liaising with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, lawyers, and company secretaries. To be successful in this position, you must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 5-10 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting, or consulting. Expertise in financial standards such as IndAS, IFRS, GST, Companies Act, FEMA, and DTAAs is essential. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks (SAP FICO is a plus), strong analytical skills, client-handling capabilities, leadership qualities, and fluency in English are also required.
