Position: Home Care Private Nurse for Special Needs Son (Post-Tracheostomy Care)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, qualified, and registered Nurse to provide dedicated medical and personal care for our beloved son, a young adult with special needs who has recently undergone a tracheostomy. The nurse will live with our family in Dubai, ensuring care, comfort, and safety, while working closely with healthcare providers and the family.

Key Responsibilities

• Tracheostomy Care & Management
• Daily cleaning, suctioning, and maintenance of tracheostomy tube.
• Monitoring for signs of infection, blockage, or breathing difficulties.
• Emergency management of tracheostomy complications.
• Medical Care & Monitoring
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Regular monitoring of vital signs and overall health condition.
• Maintain medical records and communicate updates to family and doctors.
• Assist with medical appointments, follow-ups, and rehabilitation sessions.
• Personal & Emotional Care
• Provide daily assistance with feeding, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Engage the patient with supportive, stimulating, and caring interaction.
• Offer emotional support and companionship.
• Family & Household Coordination
• Work in coordination with the family to ensure smooth daily routine.
• Train and guide family members or caregivers in emergency handling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic care environment.

Requirements:

Valid Nursing License/Registration.

Gulf Experience would be an added advantage (Not Compulsory)

Proven experience in special needs care and tracheostomy management.

Nursing degree/diploma with current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a plus).

Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude.

Willingness to live with the family and adapt to household routines.
