Central Risk Manager

Role Overview: As the Manager in this role, you will be responsible for leading a team in investigating suspected fraud and attempted fraud cases related to Retail, SME, Liability, Red Flagged Account (RFA), and Willful Defaulter (WD) cases. Your expertise in managing and monitoring investigations, as well as your understanding of risk assessment, will be crucial in identifying potential risks within various product lines. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the team in conducting investigations ethically and efficiently, ensuring timely submission of reports. - Assist the team in defining the scope of investigations and conducting sensitive interviews based on observations. - Collaborate with stakeholders at Regional, Zonal, and National levels to create a conducive environment and address observations effectively. - Recommend process improvements based on feedback from the team during investigations. - Validate case reports before submission to senior management. - Monitor investigative procedures and propose innovative ideas for cost reduction. - Drive enhancements in existing processes and frameworks for the team. - Provide insights on trends and patterns in key risk areas to senior management for effective risk mitigation. - Establish a strong network with peers and share best practices regularly. People Management Responsibilities: - Monitor and review the team members" monthly performance. - Effectively work with diverse groups. - Supervise and train employees, including organizing and prioritizing work assignments. - Develop team members for higher responsibilities. - Maintain effective liaison with stakeholders on a regular basis. - Drive and participate in projects/initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Post-Graduate/Masters degree. - CA/MBA from a reputed institute (experience in Fraud Risk management preferred). - Professional certifications such as CFA/CFE/CAMI will be advantageous. - Strong soft skills with expert proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.,
