Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement Leadership

  • Design, lead, and execute a robust central procurement strategy aligned with

organizational goals.

  • Forecast procurement requirements in coordination with operations, projects, and

finance teams.

  • Implement policies, SOPs, and control mechanisms to ensure standardized

purchasing across all units.

Budget & Cost Management:

  • Drive cost optimization initiativesthrough vendor negotiations, process

improvements, and volume discounts.

  • Monitor and analyze procurement KPIs, spend patterns, and cost variance reports.

Vendor & Supplier Management:

  • Develop and maintain a strong supplier base through continuous evaluation and

relationship building.

  • Conduct vendor auditsto ensure compliance with quality, legal, and contractual

requirements.

  • Negotiate long-term agreements with key suppliers to secure competitive pricing and

supply reliability.

Process Excellence & Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate procurement while adhering to company standards and

statutory requirements.

  • Implement technology-driven procurement tools(ERP, e-procurement platforms) for

process automation.

  • Monitor adherence to procurement compliance, ethical sourcing, and sustainability

initiatives.

Team Management & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance efficiency and skill

levels.

  • Set measurable KPIs for team members and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration within the

department.

Market & Risk Analysis:

  • Stay informed on market trends, global supply chain risks, and price fluctuationsto

make informed decisions.

  • Develop contingency plansfor supply chain disruptions and critical procurement

risks.

equired Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,

Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement leadership experience in a large-

scale, multi-location organization.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices,strategic sourcing, and vendor

management.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and modern procurement tools.
  • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
