To lead the Center of Excellence for the yarn manufacturing BU, driving operational excellence, innovation, process standardization, and capability building across all manufacturing units. This role aims to establish best practices, improve efficiency and quality, and enable a culture of continuous improvement.
- Define and implement the vision, mission, and roadmap for the Center of Excellence.
- Act as a thought leader and advisor to the senior leadership team on manufacturing excellence.
- Benchmark global best practices in yarn production and integrate them into organizational processes.
- Identify and standardize best-in-class manufacturing practices across all units.
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, KAIZEN, Quality Circles and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and enhance KPIs such as OEE, yield, productivity, quality, and energy efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies like IoT, AI, automation, and digital twins for smart manufacturing.
- Partner with R&D, quality, and production teams to optimize yarn properties and reduce defects
- Develop training modules and knowledge-sharing platforms for skill enhancement across all manufacturing levels.
- Mentor plant teams and groom internal change agents for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain a robust audit and governance mechanism to ensure process adherence and compliance with internal and external standards (ISO, ESG, etc.).
- Drive sustainability and environmental compliance in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and HR to ensure alignment with CoE goals.
- Act as a change management champion during digital or operational transformation projects.

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in yarn manufacturing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of driving manufacturing excellence and transformation projects
