CCTV Technician

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems and other security equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling surveillance systems, ensuring optimal performance, and providing technical support to clients and teams. Key Responsibilities:Installation & Setup:Install CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related surveillance equipment at client sites. Run and connect cables (coaxial, Cat5/Cat6) and configure systems for optimal performance. Position and focus cameras for the best field of view and coverage. Ensure power supply and backup systems are correctly installed. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Perform regular system checks and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cameras, wiring, or network connectivity. Repair or replace faulty components when necessary. System Configuration:Configure and maintain DVR/NVR settings, remote viewing access, and user accounts. Integrate CCTV systems with access control, alarms, and other security systems if required. Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work. Prepare service reports and update technical logs. Customer Support:Train clients or users on basic system operation and monitoring tools. Provide on-site or remote technical support when needed.
