Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CCTV Technician who can independently manage field surveys, installation, testing, commissioning, and service support for both wireless and wired CCTV systems. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end execution of surveillance setup in government project locations across Chennai, including attending service calls post-installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field surveys and prepare implementation plans.
• Install, configure, and test wireless and wired CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR systems, network switches, routers, and related security equipment.
• Execute cabling work (Cat6, Fiber Optic – preferred), routing, and power setup.
• Integrate and align wireless devices for stable connectivity.
• Conduct troubleshooting and regular maintenance visits as required.
• Attend service calls promptly and ensure minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with project managers, government authorities, and subcontractors.
• Maintain installation/service documentation and compliance records.
• Train and guide support staff/technicians when needed.
• Follow all safety and quality standards during site work.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related technical field.
• 2–3 years of work experience in CCTV installation and maintenance, including wireless surveillance systems.
• Strong knowledge of IP CCTV, networking switches, POE, Wi-Fi setup and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in fiber splicing/termination (advantage).
• Ability to identify and rectify technical faults quickly.
• Good communication skills and willingness to travel within Chennai.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
