Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Install and configure CCTV systems (cameras, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, cabling). Troubleshoot and repair hardware and connectivity issues. Perform regular maintenance and system health checks. Ensure CCTV systems are operating at peak efficiency. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections. Respond to service requests and resolve issues promptly. Provide user training on accessing and using surveillance systems. Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and company policies. Coordinate with vendors and contractors when necessary. Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data captured by surveillance systems. Proven experience as a CCTV technician or similar role. Familiarity with various CCTV systems (analog and IP-based). Strong understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, ports, firewalls). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Proficient in the use of power tools and testing equipment. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Valid driver’s license. Preferred Skills:Knowledge of access control and alarm systems. Experience with video analytics software. Familiarity with tools like CCTV testers, multimeters, crimping tools.
