CCTV Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV Technician to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing CCTV systems and associated equipment. This role involves working on a variety of client sites, ensuring high-quality installations and prompt resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV systems, IP cameras, Fire Alarm System, Access Control, DVRs/NVRs, and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing CCTV systems and provide technical support to clients.
• Run cables, mount equipment, and ensure optimal positioning of cameras and devices.
• Integrate CCTV systems with other security systems such as access control, alarms, and monitoring software.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure installations comply with company standards, client requirements, and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians for project execution.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest surveillance technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

• Proven experience as a CCTV technician or similar role in the electronic security industry.
• Strong knowledge of analog and IP CCTV systems.
• Experience with DVR/NVR configuration and network setup.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with basic networking (IP addressing, routers/switches, port forwarding).
• Comfortable working at heights and using hand/power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Certification in electronic security systems (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, etc.).
• Knowledge of access control and alarm systems.
• Understanding of health & safety practices on job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
