Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems and related surveillance equipment. The technician will be responsible for ensuring all security camera systems are functioning effectively to maintain the safety and security of the premises. Key Responsibilities:Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and network cabling. Inspect, test, and repair surveillance equipment to ensure smooth operation. Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades as required. Troubleshoot video loss, camera malfunctions, and recording failures. Maintain proper documentation of installation layouts and maintenance logs. Ensure proper positioning, focusing, and coverage of all surveillance cameras. Coordinate with IT team if systems are IP/network-based. Provide technical support and training to staff on CCTV operations (if required). Ensure compliance with safety and security standards during installation. Respond promptly to any security system-related incidents or malfunctions. Requirements:ITI/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance. Good knowledge of DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, cabling, and power supplies. Familiarity with tools like cable testers, crimpers, and power meters. Basic understanding of network systems (LAN/IP settings). Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Physically fit and comfortable with ladder or rooftop installations. Preferred Skills:Experience with biometric, access control, and fire alarm systems is a plus. Basic knowledge of networking and IP camera setup. Driving license (if fieldwork is involved).
