Cattle and Poultry Feed Sales and Marketing

As a Cattle, Poultry, and Fish Feed Sales Representative, your primary objective is to establish and expand the feed business within your designated territory. You will collaborate with farmers, milk collection centers, hatcheries, aquaculture centers, retailers, and dealers to drive market development and customer relationships effectively. Your responsibilities include market development, customer relationship management, and various other activities to ensure the success of the feed business. In terms of market development, you will be tasked with conducting customer and farmer meetings to promote feed products, acquiring new distributors and customers, identifying potential farmers and centers, ensuring customer retention, and evaluating the performance of feed types in the market. A key aspect of your role will involve surveying the designated area and implementing strategic plans for target planning across different feed categories. Maintaining strong customer relationships is crucial in this role. You will need to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the cattle, poultry, and fish farming sectors, convert existing customer relations into regular buyers, conduct daily customer visits, organize farmer meetings, address customer complaints, and arrange educational seminars for farmers. Additionally, you will lead conversions across feed categories, manage documentation for customer agreements, collaborate with internal departments for operational efficiency, and collect data on prospective customers. Your educational background should ideally be in science, dairy, aquaculture, agriculture, or business, with relevant certifications in sales or feed-related fields being advantageous. Previous experience in feed sales or related industries is preferred, and possessing knowledge of the territory, strong communication skills, product knowledge, convincing abilities, and a positive attitude are essential attributes for success in this role.
