Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Catering Sales Manager at Chai Break in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting catering services, managing client relationships, coordinating events, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Actively promote and market Chai Break’s catering services to potential clients.
  • Approach new business opportunities by generating leads, reaching out to potential clients, and nurturing relationships with corporate and individual customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction. Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event needs, including menu preferences, guest counts, and special requests. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless execution of catering services.
  • Manage and maintain catering sales records, contracts, and client databases. Prepare proposals, agreements, and other necessary documents.


Knowledge, Skills required for the role:


  • Strong sales acumen and the ability to market services effectively while providing top-notch customer service.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage trends, particularly in catering, as well as an understanding of the competitive landscape in the Kolkata area.
  • Previous experience in catering sales, event coordination, or a related role is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience in the industry may also be considered.
