As a Senior Category Manager at our recently founded, well-funded venture based in Bengaluru South, Karnataka, India, you will play a crucial role in leading the growth of the luggage, footwear, and small appliances categories. Our mission is to establish ourselves as one of India's most respected drop-ship and marketplace businesses within the next 3 years, with a significant presence across e-commerce, D2C, and offline retail channels. We prioritize a profit-first execution approach and aim to be EBITDA-positive from the first day of operations. We are seeking an individual with over 15 years of relevant experience, a solid sourcing network both in India and abroad, familiarity with major e-commerce platforms, a strong understanding of margins, EBIT, and cash flow dynamics, and the ability to introduce 100 products at a time. Additionally, we value discipline, determination, and agility, as evidenced by the requirement to run 5K in under 40 minutes and work effectively in unstructured, high-speed environments. This role demands a high level of ownership and is ideal for someone who excels in entrepreneurial settings and possesses the skills to develop commercially successful businesses.
