Seeking a Category Manager for an Apparel brand in Mumbai!

Job Responsibilities

1. Category Strategy and Planning:

● Develop a comprehensive growth strategy for the innerwear and basics category

● Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.

2. Product Lifecycle Management:

● Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.

● Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure a compelling and diverse product assortment.

3. Sales and Revenue Optimization:

● Set and achieve revenue targets for the category through effective pricing, promotions, and product positioning.

● Analyze sales data to identify hello for growth and areas for improvement.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

● Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive and effective go-to-market strategies.

● Work closely with suppliers and partners to optimize the supply chain and

enhance product availability.

5. Customer Insights and Feedback:

● Gather and analyze customer feedback, reviews, and market trends to

continuously improve product offerings.

● Utilize data-driven insights to enhance the overall customer experience.

Job Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing and has a strong production background. Preferably NIFT/ fashion background

● 5+ years as a Product Category Manager, preferably in the innerwear and essentials industry.

● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data.

● Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and market trends.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
