Cashier cum Supervisor

Role Overview: You will be responsible for cash handling and transactions, customer service, operational support, compliance, and controls in a retail or hospitality environment. Your primary focus will be on maintaining cash drawers, providing excellent customer service, ensuring operational efficiency, and upholding company policies and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Issue receipts, refunds, or change as required. - Maintain cash drawers and reconcile balances at the end of shifts. - Handle petty cash and ensure proper recording of all transactions. - Greet customers warmly and assist with billing inquiries or issues. - Handle customer complaints or escalate when necessary. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and POS area. - Assist with daily sales reports and deposit preparation. - Coordinate with service and kitchen teams for order accuracy. - Support promotional activities, discounts, and loyalty programs. - Follow company cash handling policies and procedures. - Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information. - Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and operational standards. Qualification Required: - High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma or Degree in Commerce/Hospitality preferred). - 2 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in F&B, retail, or hospitality. - Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting principles. - Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
