Carrier Management Team – Logistics

Job Title: Carrier Management Executive / Carrier Sales RepresentativeJob Description:

As a part of the Carrier Management Team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining relationships with trucking carriers. The role involves negotiating rates, ensuring capacity for loads, and working closely with internal teams to meet customer shipping needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and owner-operators.
• Negotiate freight rates and secure reliable transportation capacity.
• Monitor carrier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to meet client requirements.
• Manage carrier onboarding, including setup, contracts, and insurance verification.
• Track shipments and resolve any service or delivery issues proactively.
• Maintain carrier database and ensure updated contact, performance, and rate information.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in carrier sales, brokerage, or logistics operations (1–3 years preferred).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and MS Office.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
