What would you do? We are seeking an entry-level Capital Projects Engineer to assist in the planning, design, and execution of utility infrastructure projects. The candidate will support capital projects related to water, gas, electric, or other utility services, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

What are we looking for? Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.0-2 years of experience in capital projects, preferably in the utilities sector.Basic understanding of utility systems (water, electric, gas, etc.) and infrastructure projects.Familiarity with project management principles and tools.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project) and CAD software is a plus.Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.Internship or co-op experience in utility projects or construction management.Knowledge of local utility regulations and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in the planning, design, and execution of utility capital projects such as pipeline installation, system upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance.Support senior engineers and project managers in coordinating project activities and schedules.Help prepare project documentation including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.Track project progress, prepare status reports, and update project schedules.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and regulatory standards.Participate in site inspections and assist in resolving technical issues.Maintain accurate records of project activities and documentation.
