CAPEX Procurement Manager

The Project Procurement Manager role, based in Ahmedabad, is accountable for overseeing end-to-end Project Procurement activities for a greenfield project. Working closely with the Sr Director, APAC Procurement, your responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive project procurement plan, establishing an approved vendor list, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies to meet project timelines and budget constraints. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to address procurement-related issues and play a key role in setting up the procurement foundations in India as the pioneer team member. Ideal candidates for this position should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields, with a preference for an engineering background encompassing basic knowledge of Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering. Previous experience in a multinational corporation, particularly in CAPEX & MRO procurement involving a minimum spend of USD 50 million, project procurement, and engineering procurement, is highly desired. Familiarity with the food and chemical industry would be advantageous, along with proficiency in contract review and execution terms. Effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
