About the Role:

Camunda BPM Developer

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology and has a strong background in Java development along with workflow automation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy BPMN workflows using 

  Camunda Modeler

• Implement business logic for service tasks

  , 

  user tasks

  , and 

  decision tables (DMN)

• Integrate workflows with REST APIs, microservices, and external systems

• Write and maintain Java/Spring Boot-based

   external task clients or embedded process applications
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into process models
• Troubleshoot workflow execution issues and ensure smooth process orchestration
• Use Camunda’s tools like 

  Tasklist

  , 

  Cockpit

  , and 

  Operate

   for monitoring and debugging
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation for developed solutions
• Provide support for production issues and enhancements as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with 

  Camunda BPM

   (or similar platforms like jBPM, Activiti, Flowable)
• Proficiency in 

  Java

   and 

  Spring Boot

• Experience with BPMN

  , 

  DMN

  , and 

  Camunda Modeler

• Strong understanding of REST APIs

   and integrating workflows with external systems
• Familiarity with 

  Camunda's external task pattern

• Experience with SQL

   and understanding of relational databases
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
  

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with 

  Docker/Kubernetes

   (for deploying Camunda in cloud environments)
• Familiarity with 

  Camunda Optimize

   or custom reporting
• Experience in 

  microservices architecture

• Knowledge of message queues

   like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Basic frontend skills (Angular, React, or Vue) for user interfaces tied to human tasks
