Job Title: Café Supervisor cum Café Captain location : Delhi Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Café Supervisor cum Café Captain to oversee day-to-day operations of the café, lead the service team, ensure excellent guest experiences, and maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be both a team leader and a hands-on contributor to smooth café functioning. Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Operations: Supervise daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth service during all shifts. Greet guests warmly, manage reservations or seating, and handle customer queries or complaints professionally. Ensure high-quality service standards and consistency in food and beverage delivery. Monitor guest feedback and take proactive steps to improve customer satisfaction. Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate service staff, including waiters, baristas, and stewards. Conduct daily briefings, allocate responsibilities, and manage shift rosters. Ensure grooming, hygiene, and discipline standards of all team members. Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor daily stock levels of consumables, beverages, and service essentials. Coordinate with the kitchen and purchase team to maintain adequate supplies. Conduct inventory checks and minimize wastage. Cash & Billing Management: Supervise POS operations, ensure accurate billing, and manage cash handling procedures. Prepare end-of-day reports and reconcile daily sales. Compliance & Hygiene: Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Enforce compliance with company SOPs, safety protocols, and hygiene practices. Coordination & Reporting: Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely order delivery and product availability. Report to the Café Manager on performance, sales targets, and operational concerns. Assist in planning promotions, events, or new product launches in the café. Requirements: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a café or QSR, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/captain role. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, café equipment, and customer service practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficient in POS software and basic MS Office tools.
