Cafe Manager

• Immediately greet customers as they enter • Receive and process payments and managing bills at POS • Discern customer's preferences and make recommendations accordingly • Help to TM and Barista in their workings as per requirements • Provide basic training to new employees as per company SOPs • Keep your team moving and working, checking for quality and thoroughness • Assign each member of the team tasks based on their competencies and the needs of the group to meet production goals • Count and close the cash drawer at night (when working a closing shift), bundle money in the safe for deposits. • Maintain stock of syrups, fridge, pastries, bagged coffee and merchandise • Complete daily tasks as possible (first shift), and complete before end of day (second shift) • If there is time and it is appropriate, complete items on the next shift's checklist • Develop a work environment that encourages compliance with company, state and federal safety and employment guidelines
