Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CAE Engineer with strong expertise in structural analysis using Abaqus and HyperMesh. The selected candidate will work on-site at a leading MNC client, supporting advanced simulation projects and structural validations across mechanical domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Simplify CAD models, segregate assemblies, and perform 2D/3D meshing in HyperMesh following standard guidelines.
• Set up finite element (FE) models in HyperMesh and define case setups using Abaqus solver.
• Handle complex contact definitions, manage boundary conditions, and apply load cases effectively.
• Develop deep understanding and implementation of Non-Linearity (geometric, material, and contact non-linearities) in simulations.
• Apply various failure theories to analyze and predict component behavior under different load conditions.
• Post-process simulation results using HyperView, interpret key findings, and prepare technical reports.
• Communicate analysis results clearly with design and product engineering teams to drive design improvements.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficient in HyperMesh, Abaqus, and HyperView.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of Strength of Materials, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and mechanical behavior.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Contact modeling and management.
• Control cards setup.
• Nonlinear analysis strategies.
• Good understanding of different material models and their applications in FEA.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
