CADD Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Manager- CADD Engineer Design

The Manager-CAD Designer will be responsible for managing the design process and overseeing the work of the CAD design team, ensuring that all work is completed accurately, on time, and within budget.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed design drawings and schematics using CADD software based on project requirements and specifications

• Collaborate with project teams, including engineers and architects, to develop and refine design concepts

• Review and analyse technical drawings, blueprints, and other specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Prepare and present design proposals to clients, as well as provide project updates to management and other stakeholders

• Conduct site visits and gather data necessary for completing design work

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets

• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations

• Maintain accurate records and document all design changes and revisions

• Must be able to fully design and implement AV systems from the ground up. They will use their advanced subject matter expertise to create hybrid collaboration experiences that exceed customer expectations.

• Manage and oversee the CAD design team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

• Develop and maintain design standards and procedures to ensure quality and consistency across all projects

• Review and approve all design work produced by the CAD design team to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Provide regular updates on project progress to management and other stakeholders

• Manage the CAD design software, ensuring that it is updated and functioning properly

• Develop and manage budgets for design projects and ensure that work is completed within budget

• Provide mentorship and guidance to the CAD design team to ensure continued professional development and growth

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, or a related field

• At least 5+ years of experience in CADD design, preferably in the AV industry and with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role

• Strong knowledge of CADD software such as AutoCAD

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Ability to read, create or edit AV design drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,073.13 - ₹40,000.00 per month
