Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage 3D models in

  Autodesk Advance Steel

  for structural steel projects.
• Produce fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and workshop documentation.
• Ensure models and drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, and workshop to resolve design issues.
• Review and update drawings based on redlines, design revisions, and client feedback.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure consistent naming conventions and workflows.
• Support the optimization of internal CAD standards and modeling procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Operator or Steel Detailer working with

  Autodesk Advance Steel

  (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of structural steel components, connections, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with industry standards related to steel structures (EN is the only used).
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail — mistakes here cost real money.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good English communication skills for technical documentation and coordination.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of CNC data export, CAM integration, or workshop processes.
• Experience with parametric modeling or customization in Advance Steel.
• Background in civil, mechanical, or structural engineering.
