CAD Designer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in MEP services, specifically Plumbing, Firefighting, and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting capabilities, a solid understanding of MEP standards, and the ability to translate engineering concepts into accurate CAD drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and modify MEP drawings (Plumbing, Firefighting & HVAC) using AutoCAD/Revit as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineers to ensure accurate and compliant system layouts.
• Produce detailed plans, sections, schematics, and isometric drawings for MEP services.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
• Ensure drawings follow industry standards, codes, and project guidelines.
• Support the engineering team by updating drawings during design changes, site instructions, and revisions.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (architecture, structural, electrical) to avoid clashes and ensure smooth integration.
• Maintain drawing logs, documentation, and version control.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings at the completion of projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a CAD Technician/Engineer in MEP (Plumbing, Firefighting, HVAC).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience in Revit MEP is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of MEP codes, standards, and design practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and drafting quality.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹25,144.75 - ₹50,411.76 per month
