CAD Designer

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Product Design Engineer who can
support our product development activities on a temporary,project-by-project basis. This role involves designing components andproducts in categories such as fire & safety devices.

This is not a remote position.
The freelancer must be available to visit our Dwarka, Delhi officewhenever required, including the possibility of continuous 2–3 dayworking sessions depending on project needs. Work will be assignedonly when required; this is not a daily or full-time schedule.

Lead the design and development of new product concepts on a project basis.

Visit the on-site location for design reviews, testing, clarification
meetings, and prototype evaluations.

Create accurate 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using
CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).

Perform design analysis to ensure manufacturability, compliance, and
functional performance.

Support prototyping, testing, and iterative improvements to product designs.

Modify and finalize designs based on input from internal teams and
manufacturing partners.

Prepare documentation including design specs, revisions, and
development reports.

Collaborate with vendors and production partners when necessary.

Provide engineering insights on materials, manufacturing processes,
and design optimization.Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial
Design, Product Design, or related fields.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in product design / mechanical design roles.

Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, and related CAD tools.

Strong understanding of materials, engineering principles,
manufacturing methods, and DFM/DFA.

Experience with prototyping and iterative design improvement.

Must be available for on-site work in Dwarka, Delhi, whenever project
tasks require it.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and detail-oriented approach.

Ability to manage tasks independently and deliver within timelines.
