Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Proposal Engineer at Sombansi Enviro Engg Pvt Ltd in Ghaziabad, India. The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, and project plans. The role will involve coordinating with the sales team, engineers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions. Qualifications Technical proposal preparation and cost estimation skills Project planning and management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Engineering degree in Civil, Environmental, or related field Experience in Water & Waste-Water treatment industry is a plus
Key Responsibilities: Tender & Proposal Preparation Study tender documents (Govt & Private), BOQs, and technical specifications Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals for STP, ETP, WTP and civil packages Prepare cost estimation, budgeting, and price justifications Client & Vendor Coordination Interact with clients to understand scope and requirements Float enquiries to vendors/subcontractors and compare quotations Support in technical clarifications and pre-bid queries Documentation Prepare and compile technical bid documents, compliance sheets, prequalification documents Ensure proposals meet company standards and are submitted within deadlines Cross-functional Coordination Work with design, procurement, and execution teams for accurate proposal data Coordinate with accounts/finance for costing inputs Market & Competitor Analysis Track upcoming tenders and market trends in the wastewater/environmental sector Maintain database of vendors, project costs, and past proposals
