CAD Designer

Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our design/engineering team who have experience around 2-3 years. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience with CAD software, work on exciting design projects, and contribute to the development of products and components. Responsibilities: Assist in creating and modifying 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using [AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or other software]. Support engineers and designers in product development and documentation. Revise designs based on feedback, markups, and design changes. Maintain organized CAD files and documentation. Assist in preparing technical drawings for manufacturing or prototyping. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality assurance. Participate in design reviews and team meetings. Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Basic knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar. Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines. Preferred Extras: Familiarity with GD&T, tolerancing, and engineering drawing standards. Experience with simulations or FEA tools (optional). Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC, 3D printing, injection molding). Experience of Fusion 360 is mandatory.
