Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with automation testing tools (TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, etc.).
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript for test development.
• Experience in test case design, test scenario creation, and formal testing processes (manual + automation).
• Solid understanding of API testing and experience working with scripting languages.
• Familiarity with services, web technologies, and n-tier browser-based applications.
• Strong experience with GitLab and CI/CD integration.
• Knowledge of formal defect management processes and ability to log/review defects effectively.
• Experience in native mobile app automation (iOS/Android) using frameworks like Appium, XCUITest, Espresso.
• Solid understanding of full SDLC and QA’s role within agile delivery.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with global teams.
• A proactive learner with a passion for applying new technologies in test automation.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, and execute automation test scripts.
• Validate user stories and acceptance criteria against business requirements.
• Create and maintain bug tickets with detailed issue descriptions.
• Review merge requests and contribute to code quality discussions.
• Actively participate in sprint grooming, planning, and kick-off meetings, providing test estimates and raising quality considerations.
• Develop a strong understanding of system architecture, design, and business logic to support effective testing.
• Monitor and mentor other SDETs in best practices for test automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including enhancing QA processes and tools.
