Job Description

Kindly find the below primary skills for your reference:

C / C++, Client side coder, Strong in Development, Debugging and Bug fixes.

We need to see stronger experience in developing C++ applications for Linux user space as well as stronger networking experience.

C/C++

Demonstrates knowledge in the 4 OOP pillars: encapsulation, abstraction, inheritance, polymorphism
Demonstrates knowledge in concurrency primitives (e.g. threads, mutex, atomics).
Demonstrates knowledge of the C/C++ ecosystem and how these languages works together.
Demonstrates proficiency in one build system. Experience with CMake is great, but knowing how to build code consistently with any popular system is fine. Knowledge of cross compilation is also nice to have.
Demonstrates knowledge in testing code, including building unit tests, enabling sanitizers and running Valgrind jobs in CI, static analysis tooling (e.g. clang-tidy, cppcheck), and code coverage.
Demonstrates knowledge in dependency management, and understands static vs dynamic linking.

Networking

Demonstrates knowledge in transport layer protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP).
Demonstrates knowledge in application layer protocols (e.g. HTTP).
Demonstrates knowledge in transport layer security (TLS).
Demonstrates knowledge in network-based application development, whether that be REST with libcurl or gRPC. The goal isn't necessarily to find a candidate with the exact tooling we use, but someone who understands these concepts enough to where the framework we use doesn't matter.
Demonstrates knowledge in troubleshooting with various networking tools (e.g. ping, tcpdump, ip, nc).
