The Butler is responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized guest service in line with Marriott International brand standards
This role ensures seamless service operations by maintaining high standards of grooming, professionalism, safety, and service quality across all assigned areas The Butler actively engages with guests, anticipates their needs, and resolves service issues promptly to enhance overall guest satisfaction The Butler monitors dining and service areas for seating availability, service flow, cleanliness, safety, and guest well-being, while coordinating with relevant departments to ensure efficient operations Responsibilities include inventory management, stock requisitions, cash handling (assigned bank), and completion of maintece work orders as required The Butler communicates last call procedures at designated closing times and ensures compliance with all operational standards In support of management, the Butler assists with hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluation of associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment The role requires adherence to all Marriott International policies and procedures, including safety, security, confidentiality, and asset protection The Butler upholds uniform and personal appearance standards, communicates clearly and professionally, and consistently welcomes and thanks guests with genuine hospitality The position involves physical activity such as standing or walking for extended periods, handling service equipment and supplies, and performing other reasonable job duties as assigned by management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience
Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience
