Job Description

As a Business Support Manager at IDTechEx, your role will involve business development and sales activities. You will be responsible for setting up face-to-face meetings with new prospects, prospecting for new clients at international events, representing IDTechEx at various events, and helping to grow the company's network and brand through effective hunting and networking. Your ability to match client needs to IDTechEx products and services, maintain relationships with internal teams and industry professionals, and travel extensively will be essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Set-up face to face meetings with new prospects for the analyst and business development teams - Prospect for new clients at international events and represent IDTechEx at events - Help grow the network and brand through effective hunting and networking, establish and develop strategic relationships with senior executives - Match client needs to IDTechEx products and services and elaborate on the value they provide - Work closely with internal teams and maintain relationships with analysts, clients, and industry professionals - Attend meetings with prospects, support company-wide activities and initiatives - Help organize meetings and trips with multiple stakeholders - Accurately maintain and update the CRM database - Travel to customer locations, events, and conduct presentations about the company Qualifications Required: - Experience in a sales or customer-facing role preferable - Initiative, results-driven, highly self-motivated with the ability to adapt quickly - Excellent interpersonal and IT skills - Ability to travel extensively (nationally and abroad) IDTechEx is a global firm established in 1999, at the forefront of science innovation, providing services to help clients make critical business decisions.
