Business Operations Analyst

As a Supply Chain - Business Operations Analyst 2 at HP Inc., you have the opportunity to play a vital role in the logistics, procurement, and order management operational processes. Operating primarily from a SAP S4 standpoint, you will ensure seamless transaction flows between various systems, address any discrepancies, provide insights on failures, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will engage in pricing analysis, inventory analysis, reporting, and analytics related to Services Supply Chain. Your role will involve offering innovative solutions to operational issues, challenging the status quo, and collaborating across diverse supply chain models and regions. In this position, you will lead a wide range of logistics, procurement, and order management processes in both SAP S4 and non-SAP environments. You will collaborate with internal teams and outsourced partners to ensure the efficient execution of operations. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will leverage your strong SAP skills, particularly in Idocs, and be well-versed in supply chain business processes. You will reengineer business processes, automate them using cutting-edge technologies, and produce reports to analyze data trends and provide insights to management. To excel in this role, you should hold a first-level university degree, preferably in Engineering, and possess a minimum of 12-14 years of experience in the supply chain function. Your experience should span multiple supply chain functions with a primary focus on logistics, procurement, and order management. A mandatory requirement includes at least 4-5 years of experience in various SAP S4 areas related to forward logistics, reverse logistics, procurement, and sales order management. You should have a solid understanding of SAP, the ability to monitor day-to-day operations, and support logistics, procurement, and order management processes when needed. Key skills for success in this role include knowledge of EDIs, familiarity with B2B platforms for partner communication with HP systems, exceptional communication and presentation skills, strong influencing and relationship management abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and a vocal approach to challenging traditional operating models and proposing innovative solutions. Strong project management skills are essential for leading cross-functional teams, and familiarity with Services Supply Chain is advantageous.
