Job Title: Business Manager – Standby
Department: Retail Operations
Location: Ernakulam , Kerala (Willing to travel and work across myG Store locations as required)
Reporting To: Regional Business Manager

Job Summary:

The Standby Business Manager will act as a supporting and replacement in-charge for store operations across multiple myG outlets as needed. This role ensures smooth store performance, drives sales, maintains operational standards, and leads the store team in the absence of a regular Business Manager. The ideal candidate should have solid retail management experience, strong leadership skills, and flexibility to travel or relocate across locations within Kerala.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned stores during the absence of the store’s permanent Business Manager.
  • Drive sales performance and ensure the achievement of monthly store targets.
  • Monitor team productivity and provide on-the-spot training and motivation to staff.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards in customer service, store discipline, and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain inventory control, stock management, and proper documentation.
  • Handle customer escalations and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Submit daily and weekly reports to the Regional Business Manager.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operational checklists.

Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 3–5 years in retail sales or store management (electronics retail experience preferred).

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sales-driven and result-oriented mindset.
  • Good understanding of retail operations, billing, and inventory control.
  • Flexibility to travel and manage multiple store locations.

Salary:

As per company standards + Travel allowance
