Job Description

As a Data Service Business Intelligence Analyst at Wolters Kluwer's Fulfillment Center of Excellence, your primary responsibility will be to perform quality assurance testing for the Legal Bill Analysis Center of Excellence (LBACOE). In this role, you will be tasked with auditing electronically submitted legal fee and expense invoices from law firms and vendors to ensure prompt, accurate, and efficient processing for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting detailed review of invoice lines utilizing your specialized legal subject matter expertise - Verifying compliance with legal billing guidelines by law firms and vendors - Ensuring accuracy of UTBMS task codes applied to invoice line items - Independently adjusting invoice line items based on legal context and core legal terminology - Documenting reasons for adjustments and forwarding audited invoices through the review chain - Resolving law firm appeals professionally and promptly - Providing expert assessment of legal context in invoices and data files - Collaborating with the team to review and analyze LBA Data Service AI outputs - Reviewing complex data outputs to evaluate AI accuracy and performance - Developing AI cognitive logic and pattern-based rules - Documenting performance metrics and possessing a strong understanding of legal terminology Moreover, you will need to possess the following qualifications: - Relevant Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent industry experience - Familiarity with legal billing processes and terminologies - Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and with limited supervision - Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Knowledge of common business math and business telephone etiquette Additionally, you will be required to demonstrate the following competencies: - Strong communication and organizational skills - Collaborative team player with problem-solving abilities - Leadership skills and the ability to work across various business units - Effective planning and organizing capabilities - Willingness to learn and adapt to a changing marketplace - Self-directed with a proactive approach to work Please note that the recruitment process may involve an onsite visit to a Wolters Kluwer office.,
