As the Business Head at Chalk Studio, you will play a crucial role in driving the studio's growth trajectory by integrating market intelligence, operational efficiency, client strategy, and revenue acceleration. Your responsibilities will include: - **Market Understanding & Competitive Intelligence:** - Engage with senior architects, designers, and BD professionals to grasp evolving industry dynamics. - Analyze competitor studio models, revenue mechanisms, team structures, execution workflows, and client servicing benchmarks. - Identify whitespace and opportunity areas for differentiation and growth. - **Business Strategy & Revenue Planning:** - Develop scalable growth strategies aligned with Chalk Studio's vision and design ethos. - Drive high-potential partnerships and collaborations. - Establish revenue targets and strategic roadmaps for quarterly achievements. - **Studio Operations & Execution Oversight:** - Audit and refine existing studio workflows for efficiency and on-time delivery. - Create SOPs for inquiry handling, pitching, costing, and post-sale follow-up. - Implement accountability structures across design, BD, and execution teams. - **Team Collaboration & Mentorship:** - Collaborate with founders and department heads to drive cross-functional synergy. - Mentor design and BD associates for enhanced client engagement and ownership. - Develop frameworks for upskilling team members in soft skills and project ownership. - **Client Relations & Brand Building:** - Manage high-value client relationships and represent Chalk Studio at key industry forums. - Refine brand positioning and collaborate on pitch strategies with marketing. - Oversee proposal writing, negotiations, and business closure processes. **Qualifications:** - Senior design or BD professional with 10-15 years of experience in architecture, interiors, or creative business leadership. - Well-connected in the architecture & design community. - Proficient in leading studio transformation projects or establishing business units. - Analytical, commercially sharp, with a keen eye for design and detail. - Excellent communicator with a collaborative, assertive, and empowering leadership style.
