Business Finance Manager

Dairy Day was started in 2002 by two veterans from the ice-cream industry, with a keen desire to chart their own course in a category they were deeply passionate about. Over the past 20 years, Dairy Day has grown to become a regional leader in the ice-cream category, with market leadership in Karnataka & with the brand ranked 3rd in Tamil Nadu. The brand boasts of strong presence on-ground across 70000+ retailers, and continues to grow rapidly at 25%+, with FY24 revenues at 680 Cr. Along the way, Dairy Day has attracted significant investor interest, with investments from Motilal Oswal in 2016 and a sizeable investment from Kedaara Capital in 2024.

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Business Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and execution of key business initiatives. This role will partner with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Operations, Sales and Marketing to drive profitability, optimize costs, and support long-term business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial strategy, business partnering, and project execution, with a passion for transforming business performance through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Planning

  Drive long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth and sustainability.

• Business Case Development

  Lead financial evaluation of capacity expansion, investments, and value engineering opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Cost Optimization & Efficiency

  Partner with Procurement and Operations to deliver material and non-material savings, improving resource utilization and profitability.

• New Product Development Support

  Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to evaluate financial viability, pricing strategy, and ROI for new product launches.

• Technology & Investment Evaluation

  Assess financial impact of technology choices and investments to ensure optimal life cycle costs and returns.

• Cross-Functional Business Partnering

  – Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights, enhance operational efficiency, and enable informed decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

• Chartered Accountant or MBA from Tier 1 institute with Finance and Accounts specialization.
• 2-3 years of Experience in Business Finance/ financial analysis, process design and improvement and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to interpret extensive data to make actionable recommendations.

PREFERRED SKILLS
