Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Sales Manager to lead and grow our Fire Safety Equipment sales division. This role involves driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence across industries such as commercial, industrial, residential, and institutional sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Growth
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the fire safety equipment market.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and trends.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, facility managers, and procurement teams.
  • Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Handle negotiations, proposals, and closing of deals.
  • Team & Project Coordination
  • Work closely with the technical and operations team for project execution.
  • Guide and mentor junior sales staff to achieve departmental goals.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Prepare and execute sales strategies for targeted regions and sectors.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional events to generate leads.
  • Reporting
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular performance reports for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred: Mechanical/Electrical/Fire & Safety Engineering).
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in sales/business development within the fire safety equipment industry or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety products (fire extinguishers, suppression systems, hydrants, alarms, sprinklers, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong business acumen with results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel as per business requirements.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Existing client network in the fire safety sector.
  • Experience working with government tenders and institutional sales.
  • Certifications in fire safety or sales management will be an added advantage.
