Business Development Representative - Automation Division

Role Overview: As a BMS (Building Management System) Service Engineer at Smart Joules in the Automation Division, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing BMS systems to ensure efficient operation and meet clients" needs. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, analyzing system data for improvements, managing service tickets, providing customer support, assisting in installation and commissioning, maintaining documentation, offering training, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and promoting safety. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on BMS systems. Identify and resolve technical issues to enhance performance and minimize downtime. - System Optimization: Analyze system performance data to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implement necessary adjustments for improved efficiency and reliability. - Ticket Handling: Prioritize and manage service tickets, delivering timely and effective solutions to customer concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels. - Customer Support: Serve as a primary contact for clients, offering technical guidance and support on BMS-related queries and issues. - Installation and Commissioning: Support in the setup, commissioning, and integration of new BMS systems and components. - Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service activities, system performance, and client interactions. Prepare detailed reports on maintenance and system performance. - Training and Guidance: Provide training and technical support to clients and internal teams on BMS system operation and maintenance. - Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all BMS activities. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BMS service and maintenance, preferably in the automation industry. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining various BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, and Johnson Controls. - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and energy management principles. - Familiarity with network protocols and integration methods like BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks. - Soft Skills: - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Certifications: Relevant certifications in BMS or HVAC systems would be advantageous. - Availability: Openness to travel to client locations and provide on-call support as required.
