Business Development Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities
• Reach out to prospects via calls, emails, and meetings to generate leads
• Provide online software demonstrations to prospective and existing clients
• Assist clients with software installation and setup remotely
• Guide clients in self-support tools and resources to maximize software usage
• Handle client complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or client support is a plus but freshers with good communication skills are also welcome
• Strong technical aptitude to understand and demonstrate software products
• Ability to handle client complaints calmly and find effective solutions
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and time management skills
