Business Development Officer

Job Description

We are hiring Business Development Officers (2 positions) on behalf of our client in the TMT steel bar industry. This is a full-time role based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities Conduct field visits to dealers, contractors, and construction sites to promote TMT steel bars. Identify and onboard new dealers and influencers, such as engineers, fabricators, and site supervisors. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and gather valuable market intelligence. Track competitor activities and provide insights to the sales head. Enhance product visibility and brand awareness in the assigned territory. Support marketing campaigns, dealer meetings, and promotional events. Provide timely reports on field activities and customer feedback. Eligibility Criteria Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Language: Fluency in Tamil with basic English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing). Travel: Valid two-wheeler license and readiness to travel extensively within Coimbatore and nearby areas. Strong understanding of local markets and customer behavior. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Self-disciplined, trustworthy, and target-driven.
