Business Development Officer | Paint Industry | Immediate Joiners Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive dealer acquisition, onboarding, and growth in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing dealer networks, expanding market reach, and driving sales growth in the paint or allied industries. Key Responsibilities: Dealer Development & Channel Expansion: Identify, recruit, and develop a network of dealers, distributors, and channel partners to increase market penetration. Evaluate potential dealerships and ensure alignment with the companys growth strategy. Foster strong relationships with existing dealers to improve performance and ensure long-term partnerships. Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets through the dealer network. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and dealer performance to identify new business opportunities. Monitor dealer sales performance and provide necessary support to maximize results. Training & Support: Conduct regular training sessions for dealers and their staff to ensure product knowledge, sales techniques, and brand positioning. Provide technical and operational support to enhance dealer capabilities and performance. Market Research & Analysis: Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Recommend strategies to strengthen the companys presence in the Mumbai region. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure dealers comply with company policies, processes, and pricing guidelines. Prepare regular reports on dealer performance, market dynamics, and competitor analysis for management review. Key Skills Required: Strong understanding of dealer/channel management in the paint industry or allied sectors. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities and a target-driven approach. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA/PGDM is an added advantage. Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of experience in dealer development, sales, and channel management in the paint or construction materials industry. Prior exposure to handling dealer networks in the Mumbai region is highly desirable. Compensation: Competitive salary with performance-based incentives and growth opportunities.
