Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Officer based in Kashmir. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and supporting the organization’s mission to ensure water security for mountain communities. Daily tasks include meeting the farmers, nursery owners and FPOs conducting developing growth strategies, and facilitating communication between the company and clients or partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Agri business or related discipline
• Basic technical understanding of micro‑irrigation, automation (sensors, controllers, flow systems)
• Strong communication skills: able to listen well, explain clearly, attention to detail
• Fieldwork capability and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with analytical mindset
• Valid driving licence and good driving skills (to travel to remote sites)
