Role Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to convert leads into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Market Research

• Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and industry research.
• Develop and manage lead pipelines across multiple channels.
• Track competitor activities and market trends.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

• Approach potential clients, pitch company services/products, and convert leads into deals.
• Build strong and long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.

3. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop sales plans aligned with the companys objectives.
• Create proposals, quotations, and business presentations.

4. Coordination & Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with internal teamsoperations, marketing, finance, and product teams.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and handover of new clients.
• Provide feedback to internal teams based on client insights.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, proposals, and closures.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
• Update CRM and databases on a timely basis.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Development or Sales (industry-specific preferred).
• Experience in handling client interaction, pitching, and closures.
